We have just returned from our first ever trip to Africa and Madagascar, both trips booked through Jenman African Safaris. We have travelled a lot to many countries sometimes on our own and sometimes in small group tours and both these trips delivered beyond expecation in everyway. They delivered a 20 out of 10 experience, in every respect .On the Botswana Wild Life breakaway the guide, Ntando, driver Alex, vehicle, accommodation and inclusions of activities and game sighting were superb. Value for money I don’t think you could better ). We booked on a fully accommodated small group tour (12 in total in our group) and all terrific company for the 14 days starting and finishing in Vic Falls in Zimbabwe.
The tour completes a circle driving down to Hwange NP in Zimbabwe (a highlight) across to Botswana and on thru to Namibia and includes so many highlights I can’t list them all. Suffice it to say that we saw more wildlife, often all at once when you came across views over waterholes, than we could possibly have imagined, the accommodation was extremely comfortable some even luxurious and the food and wonderful. We followed the Botswana adventure by flying back to Joburg(over night) and then onto Madagascar for the Jenman 1000 Views ofMadagascar 10 days package.
We are the first of any one we know to go to Maadgascar and the expereince was wonderful in everyway. You have your own vehicle and driver/guide meet you at the airport and take you on this amazing beautiful adventure seeing not only the stunning and ever changing scenery of Magagascar from the highlands through to the rain Forest in the East and then down to the flatter spiney deserts of the south, extraordinary fauna and flora at every turn but more than that was the incredibly interesting introduction to and expereince of Malgassy people, their life and their culture. We chose to buy the Accommdation upgrade which delivered wonderful unique Hotels/Lodges , with incredibly spacious and comfortable rooms and superb food.
Again this trip delivered so much better value for money than we could have imagined. This is a must do trip for anyone interested in travel. The Malagassy welcome tourists and have superb infrastructure for providing a safe and extremely comfortable experience while taking in all the unique scenes and experiences. We are in our late 60’s early 70’s and the trip requires a degree of fitness but having you own vehicle and guide allows for some flexibilty. We loved every minute of it. Do it while you can! I was fortunate enough to be able to visit Madagascar and after doing some research, decided to try Jenman Safaris as they had been recomended. The trip and service were excellent, itinerary included everything that I had hoped to see and experience. I think their consultants are really knowledgable and went the extra mile to ensure the trip was exactly what I had had in mind. Next trip is a given and I am looking forward to doing their 1000 Views of Madagascar this year, now that I have explored the North. Can’t wait to see more of this wonderful country.
